Appraisal Reviews

As said in an announcement by the Federal Reserve, "financial institutions must have effective, unbiased real estate appraisal and evaluation programs," and that appraisers completing reviews have to "have the knowledge and expertise to assess compliance with the Federal Reserves appraisal regulations and guidelines." If you're looking for appraisal review services that are impartial, efficient, professional and in line with the Federal Reserve's rules, contact John F. Schulke.

If you have questions in reference to an appraisal, or if you need a real estate appraisal review, call us today.

As stated by the Federal Reserve, appraisal reviews "have to figure out whether the appraisal or evaluation is fitting for the transaction, the uncertainty of the transaction, and whether the actions by which the collateral valuation is acquired guarantees independence and quality." They "must also signify whether the appraisal or evaluation report is consistent with the letter of engagement, which describes the extent of the appraisal assignment." Last, The Federal Reserve says that "some financial institutions reinforce routine reviews with post-funding assessments of appraisal quality for a few of their high-risk or larger-value contracts as a method to aid in addressing valuation disputes."

In addition to tailoring our work to the procedures and guidelines of our review customers, there are four Fannie Mae forms that are primarily used for review services, and we can produce an appraisal review on any of them. They include an appraisal "desk" review, a "field" review, a "short" form and a "narrative" form. Here at John F. Schulke, we're qualified in all kinds of appraisal reviews, review processes and the requirements of review appraisers.

John F. Schulke knows what the most prevalent defects are, specifically in our home market, as well as what represents a quality appraisal. Concurrently, we're trained enough to admit that the competition in our market are able to do a fine job. The Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice, or USPAP, govern appraisal reviews and appraisal reports, and you can rely on us to lawfully examine appraisal reports performed by others. And those others may be reviewing our work, too!

Here at John F. Schulke, you can trust our neutral judgment, because we offer professional, impartial, ethical appraisal review services for our customers. Contact John F. Schulke to learn more about our qualifications, expertise and services offered.
